Jessica is Founder and President of Catalynics, a consultancy with the mission to help corporations and NGOs catalyze smart strategy, partner collaboration, stakeholder engagement and project management in sustainability and corporate social responsibility. She has 20+ years of operational and policy experience in sustainability and CSR, with deep forest management and commodity supply chain issue expertise.
Prior to Catalynics, Jessica launched and directed the North American office of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), engaging with U.S. based companies on a variety of policy and project initiatives. She also ran WBCSD’s global project on Sustainable Lifestyles. Jessica has worked at the World Wildlife Fund in a variety of forest, agriculture and international conservation policy roles and also in the Global Forest & Trade Network. Jessica started her career as wildlife biologist for International Paper Corporation’s west coast operations and also served for many years as IP’s global Forest Policy Director.
Jessica is an Affiliate of Forum for the Future; a Fellow at Virginia Tech; a senior advisor at Drops In the Ocean; and advisor to The Forest Dialogue; Chair of CRA’s Diversity & Inclusion committee; and a member of the WEF Global Agenda Council on Forests. Jessica has a Master’s in Forest Science from Yale and a B.S. and B.A. from Messiah College.
