Lucy Deram-Rollason has over 20 years’ experience in resource mobilization across different parts of IUCN where she leads IUCN’s resource mobilization function across the organization with public and private donors to expand and diversify IUCN’s funding base. From early on in her career, Lucy was responsible for leading IUCN’s engagement with ODA government donors where she spearheaded the establishment of multi-year, multi-million core support mechanisms with bilateral donors, resulting in US$15 million annual unrestricted income, which still stands today. She later moved into a broader role leading IUCN’s engagement with governments, foundations, high net worth individuals and corporates. She has brokered and supported negotiations of complex multi-million programmatic partnerships with governments, foundations and the private sector, supporting global, regional and national fundraising efforts. Lucy holds a Master’s Degree in ‘Environment and Development’ from the London School of Economics. She has a certificate from IMD Business School on ‘Mastering Board Governance’. Lucy Deram-Rollason joined the Board in April 2024.
